Macclesfield Town chose Fine Turf Services to undertake their end-of-season renovation works due to our previous successful maintenance operations and excellent value.
The whole renovations were undertaken and completed within one day allowing for a suitable timescale for germination and recovery. This was well in advance of the upcoming season due to the modern equipment utilised for these works and the hands-on experienced operators.
The whole renovations consisted of:
- Koro field top maker to remove existing surface
- Rake level tilth for cultivations
- Sand spread 100 tonnes
- Verti drain
- Apply pre seed fertiliser
- Overseed 4 directions with disc seeder
- Overseed final pass using dimple seeder
- Final levels raked and drag matted
